3D Dress Form Summer in Paris

Image
Used the Summer in Paris Cricut cart to make this.  I also stamped with Versamark and used silver embossing powder.  I used a glue gun to hold everything together but you can't really see the glue.  I can't wait to make more!

Dress Form Notepad - made with the Cricut

Image
I saw the neatest video about making  Dress Form Notepads . The lady used a die cut but I have my Cricut and decided to try it myself. I was just gonna use the leftover paper from the inside of album pages but it kept sticking to my mat so I used white card stock. The outside, I used a Dt. Coke box.  I just set my Cricut to Blade 6 and the heaviest pressure but asked it to cut each image twice, to make sure it went all the way thru. I have a stash of body scrubbers and decided to cut one up for the skirt. Punched holes, added a jump ring, and tied some ribbon. Love how it turned out, even though it took a while.  Love how it stands on its own as well.

Cricut Hello Kitty Ornaments

Image
Made some of these last year and decided to make them again.  I used some of the same ribbon but then some Hello Kitty Ribbon and some zebra print ribbon.

Little Mermaid - Solvang, CA - Scrapbook Page

Image
In Denmark, the Little Mermaid statue is famous.  One day would like to go to Denmark, since I'm Danish, and would love to take my picture by her.  They have a copy of the statue in Solvang!!!!  So had to take our picture by it.  I blinged up the mermaid on the paper from the Once Upon a Time stack because it was very light.  Also used an old letter template because I was 2 lazy to get out my Cricut yesterday.  It was fun cutting up letters, hard on the hands though.

Hans Christian Andersen Museum- Scrapbook Pages

Image
Finalllllly used my Once Upon A Time stack I've been wanting to use ever since I saw it in the store! Thought it was perfect for these pictures.  I loved going here.  The smell of all the old books, I could have stayed in here forever and read all of the books. I even used to have some of the books when I was a kid. Really neat place and for free you can't beat that!

Vintage Motorcycle Museum - Solvang, CA

Image
We went to the Vintage Motorcycle Museum and I didn'tk now what to do with all these pictures.  I used my Tim Holtz stack and couple stickers packs.  I also had the ticket pack for journalling.

Explore California - K&Company Pre- Made pages

Image
I normally do not buy just add your own picture pages but for 5.99 for a stack of paper at Tuesday Morning, I couldn't resist. I just added a few other things I had in my stash.  I've had the ribbon stickers with the words on them forever now.  I also cut the paper like frames and put some of the pictures behind the frames.

Ronald Reagan Museum - part 2 -Scrapbook pages and a 2 page SMASH

Image
I do not know why I printed out so many pictures from this trip. 17 pages for one day and 2 smash but it has been a fun day finishing this project! I bought most of the paper at Scrappin Time in Las Vegas.  7 gypsies, Postale Collections: Post, Arrows, and Airmail paper.  Love these Authentique papers!  Used the Glory collection, Freedom and Allegiance 12 x12 and when you cut the strip off, has cute little quotes I'm gonna use on another page. In my stash at home, I have a ton of paper from a company not in business any more called My Creative Life.  I used the 4th of July collection, the Stripes Forever and Forever Plaid but only used the red side and blue side.

Yee Haw - Ronald Reagan Museum - Scrapbook Page

Image
We had so much fun pretending to ride with The President thru the hills of Semi Valley!  Mom wouldn't do it but took some great pictures of my Dad and I.  I bought this paper at Scrappin Time in Las Vegas, do not remember the brand name and Tim Holtz letters and stickers from a paper pack. Matched up with some random paper pack, probably from Michaels for the photo mats.

The White House - At The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library

Image
They had a to scale Oval Office and WOW it is a lot smaller than I thought it would be.  I used White House paper and then flag paper of us pretending to give a Presidential Speech.  That was so much fun and one of the busiest picture spots of the day.  Everyone was laughing and having a great time.

Air Force One - Scrapbook Page

Image
It was so much fun touring Air Force One! We were not allowed to take any pictures of the inside though.  Love that when you buy the pictures,  you receive a CD, my mom printed what she wanted, and I have the CD to print what I want. I decided to print a 8x10 and only use this picture on this page because it was a great family pic on this special day! I can never stay away from SMASHing so used our receipts and cut up a picture I took going into the pavillion.

The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library

Image
Last May, my parents and I went to The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library.  If you are ever in Simi Valley, it really is a must see. I bought all of these papers at Scrappin Time in Las Vegas while on a trip there, except the Recollections blue cardstock I bought at Michaels.  Most of the papers are We R Memory Keepers Red White & Blue line. The White House paper was by Reminisce.

Cutesy Style Smash Book - Sprinkles Cupcakes

Image
I was soooooooo excited to be at The Grove and find a Sprinkles Cupcakes!!!!  I had been to The Grove a few times and did not know Sprinkles was there!!!! I used to watch the show The Girls Next Door!  Bridgett was always buying Sprinkles Cupcakes for her man and any function at The Mansion! I told them how excited I was and they gave me an extra sticker and a card.  I loved the little wooden spoons they give you too.  I got the Red Velvet cupcake and it was so delish!!!! I had to put it in my Cutesy Style SMASH book! First page in this book complete....will I ever finish all these books up?? I used leftover stickers I scored at Wal Mart last year for a quarter and the cupcake and heart washi tape!

365 SMASH Book - Throwback Thursday

Image
Sean and I went to the zoo for the 4th so I had no pictures for these pages and it has been killing me that they are blank. I found these pictures of my nephew, niece, and I in American Flag shirts and decided to do a Throwback Thursday page.  Its such a trend in 2013 that I figured it would work for a page in my 2013 book. I used some Oh Snap products and some star washi tape. For the title used more Making Memories letter stickers.  I have so many, I hope to use them all up one day!

365 Album - Cesar Chavez Museum

Image
In March on the way to Lake Isabella, we drove past the Cesar Chavez Museum and decided to stop.  Only a couple bucks to tour and the grounds were absolutely gorgeous. I hated to cover up the pages in the book but wanted this trip in the SMASH book. I bought the bumper sticker for a dollar and the postcard and of course used some of the pamphlets.

Baby Style SMASH Book - Jayla

Image
I'm a Great Aunt 13 times over with Ms. Jayla's birth on Friday!!! I had to SMASH her pictures right away.  I used a tag from 7 Gypsies, Daisy HIll Stickers, some stickers from The Dollar Tree, more of the clear envies with words I love so much, Making Memories Funky with Fibers that I have been hoarding for years, a clip from some of the SMASH brands clip package, and an Art Accentz brads by Provo Craft.

SMASH - The Counter - Retro Style Book

Image
My fave place to eat is The Counter !!!  If your burger is awful, its your own fault, since you custom order it! I saved the pencil, the menu, and the ordering slip from a couple different locations.  I've been to 4 and would love to go to more!!!!!  I hope the pencil stays put I attached it with some tape from Toys R Us that I'm almost out of and love...its junk food themed! PS If you go, order the Garlic Fries, so delicious!

SMASH -Quotables - Retro Style book

Image
I saved these quotes from a magazine.  I also covered some pages with some background paper and washi.  Then added some misc. pics of me from I think 2008 or 2009.

Wal Mart SMASH Page

Image
My friend found these Walmart shopping lists and gave them to me last year.  I found some funny pics of my sister and I going to walmart at midnight! I found the name tags online and printed them.  Added letter stickers and think this page is hilarious! Sorry sis!  you know this is funny!

SMASH page about SMASHING!!!! A double layout and a single layout

Image
The front of the SMASH books just have to be covered as well.  I've saved all of the trash that comes with my SMASHing products.  I used them to cover the insides of the retro book.  Then the next page, used more, but added a little journalling to the page as well.

SMASHPage about my Cricut

Image
I have had the original Cricut since it came out.  Was a wonderful Christmas Present!!!! Then last year I finally upgraded to the Expression since it was on sale at Walmart for $150 bucks!  I've saved many Cricut things like the cardboard the cutting mats come on, refill blades, etc. I made a pocket out of the cutting mat board to  put my CD and other information that came with the cricut and then cut out all the pictures on the "trash". I used the Retro Style SMASH Book for the page and covered up almost everything but the Good Stuff title.  I also used a journal card to add journaling like a tag to put in the envelope.

SMASH Folio Pages - Our Family Memories of Home

Image
I scrapped some of these pictures in 1999 when they were taken...using Precious Moments paper and die cuts.  I had these left over and decided to use them today.  I learned how to make the pocket out of a paper bag from another gal on a card group I'm on.  I used it to hold Misc. Pictures of my moms house.

Baby Style - SMASH Book

Image
Up to 6 pages in this book about my Great Nieces and Nephews. This little one will be 5 this year and WOW I still haven't met him :(  Hate that families live so far apart!  But one day. At least we are in the same time zone lol.  I used Me & My Big Ideas Soft Spoken stickers I've had in my stash forever now.  I also used washi tape I got from a sale from   https://peachycheap.com  on one of their sales one day. Also from the Dollar Tree a million years ago, was a page layout for military.  I spelled out in his name in those cardstock letters.  I'm on a mission to use up all my old stash before I buy new HAHAHHAA OK well gonna try.

Baby Boy - Baby Style SMASH Book

Image
I do not know which year this great nephew of mine was born!  I'm terrible, had all the information on my old computer, but found these pics, and had to SMASH this wonderful day!   When he was born 5 or 6 years ago, I had bought some stickers from Creative Imaginations.  It was the Baby Boy stickers called Narratives by Karen Russell, WOW $2.99 finalllllllly used up! lol I also used WalMart 4x6 photo pages for the flip ups. The stickers on the sticker pack looked like washi to me, so I used them at the top of the flip ups.  I put the letters BABY on blue cardstock and adhered them to the ends of the pictures to flip up and used a journaling card with more of the baby stickers and hid the journalling.  I also used some more of the overlay 4x6 photo sleeves I bought so many of and with SMASHING finally using.
