Cupcake Recipe Cards

These were soo much fun to make.  I used 3 different types of paper, some ink, some bling, some leftover cupcake stickers a friend had, some ribbon, and cupcake brads.  I bought all the stuff thinking we were using regular recipe cards but these were 6x6 and can't wait for the next bunch so I can buy more stuff and bling them out more.

Altered Dollar Tree Box

I bought two of these black boxes Dollar Tree had on an end cap with garage sale items on it.  It is about the size of a VHS box.
I had the Paris paper pack from JoAnns handy and wanted to decorate the box with the dress form paper to match my bathroom.  I cut the front out of the dress form paper.  Then used the pink and black striped paper from the same stack and cut the strips out to match the sides.  I used a glue stick to lightly glue it on the box.  Then when I was sure that is what I wanted I used modge podge to adhere the paper with the box.  Added 1.00 flowers from Michales with brads and a paper doily.  Found a R necklace for .30 so just used the R to add a personal touch for my name.  Its a little shiny right now cause its still wet but I think it will look awesome when finished.  I'm going to put my earings in it.

Brown Paper Packages...

Got this idea off pinterest, as usual hahaha.

I am having a spa party for the ladies of my church this weekend.  My mom crocheted them some dishrags.  So I bought brown bags, wrote the words in word, cut out with scrapbook scissors, glue sticked them on, and will add string to the top.....Brown Paper Packages tied up with string...

Quarter Party Page - with sketch

I used this sketch off of Pinterest, here is the link

As you can tell I didn't quite follow it exact but loooove how it came out.

Card Holder

Here is the original pin

My score thing is not working right, it cuts cardstock, so I made it with a piece of scrap pink paper.  The directions confused me a little bit, she doesent tell you to cut at one point.  Look at the picture she shows and you'll see where to cut.

Then I cut cardstock to put on the outside and added ribbon.

I bought these fab cards at Tuesday Morning the other day, just so I could use the pattern, and the cards fit perfectly inside.

I bought a cheap frame($1), card kit($1), postit($1), and matching pen($1) at the Target Dollar Spot.  I made these for my friends 14 year old twins for their birthday today.  I got this idea off splitccoasters along time ago.
