Floating Christmas Ornaments

I did not have the right ingredients to make these. I also didn't want to spend 50 for printable transparencys.   I did have write on ones! I cut the transparency out of my Cricut a 2.5 inch ornament from the Artiste Cartridge. I did have to cut twice.  Then I used vinyl lettering and made sure the letters fit.  Totally worked!

Dress Form Christmas Tree

I love Dress Forms!  Someone posted on my timeline, this beautiful dress form tree.  I just knew I had to try one too.

I had bought a three pack of dress forms to hang jewelry on for my bathroom a few years ago.  They were black and I spray painted pink.  Yup, still not on the wall lol.

I had bought a $2.00 tree at Target last year for the bedroom and stuck the dress form on top.

I had some scrap lace and wrapped around the tree.

For ornaments, I used my Cricut Artiste Cartridge.  I cut out Eiffel Towers, Dressforms, Shoes, Chandeliers, and Fleur de Lis.  I used my eyelet punch for the holes and used some ribbon to make ties. I had some left over part of a scarf I had made and turned that into the tree skirt!

I loooove how it came out!  Makes the bedroom look so pretty!

I am highlighting the Birthday Wishes stamp set for this blog hop.  I had so much fun making a few cards and using it on a scrapbook page.  Love how you can use these stamps in all paper crafting!

I stamped the balloon with Versamark and embossed to make it stand out.  I cut the tails and balloons but put the green on the blue and blue on the green.  I used the Alpha set to stamp his name over and over.  The way these stamps are cut, makes them really line up straight.  I used the image as background paper.  I used a tag that came with the paper pack, but added the Happy Birthday stamp image.  I don't get to scrapbook my nephews very much so I love how this turned out.
I also wanted to make some Birthday Cards.  Several birthdays are coming up, so nice to have them ready for the next party!

I used my embossing folders, some ribbon, some washi tape, and love how crisp the Happy Birthday image is.  On the second card, I colored in the balloon image with colored pencils.  Used a different embossing folder and more ribbon.

The giveaway includes:
Greetings on the Go Stamp Set
Birthday Wishes Stamp Set
Sizzix Embossing Folder set

My question is:  What inspired you to start creating?

A Creative Journey with Melissa Stamp Release

Welcome to the monthly NEW RELEASES for A Creative Journey with Melissa. Every SECOND WEDNESDAY of the month we will be featuring our newly released stamp sets. I am a Design Team member for A Creative Journey with Melissa and I am thrilled to be able to share these creations with you today. The new stamp releases are the You’re Snow Wonderful and Coffee is my liquid therapy. We are also highlighting our amazingly cute and versatile Everyday Alphabet stamp sets throughout this hop as well.

I am highlighting the Coffee is My Liquid Therapy stamp set.

I had so much fun making these two cards and can not wait to make more.  This set is so much fun!

I layered three patterned papers but loved the coffee bean stamp.  So I stamped several on pink paper and layered.  I used my Cricut Artiste Cartridge to make the one inch rosettes.  I used a glue gun to attach together.  I also used the bean stamp on the brown paper.  I wanted the coffee mugs to match the paper, so stamped on yellow patterned paper, and cut out.  I cut the handle off the left one and moved it to the other side.  I stamped the Hello Friend on the coffee holder, to add a touch of color.

I love the words on this set!  Perfect for outside of the card, inside of the card, or on scrapbook pages!  I loved the Hot Stuff stamp!  My friends birthday is coming up so combined with that stamp.  I used a piece of scrap paper so I can just have the Hot and Stuff on one cup.

I also used my gold embossing powder and cut out the coffee cups.  I used three different patterned paper, I just love paper!  I inked the edges in brown ink and stamped on the back sides of the paper, the coffee holder stamp.

Please be sure to hop along to each Design Team Member's blog, become a follower their blog and answer the question correctly that they have posted to qualify to win the prizes.

The prizes include:
You're Snow Wonderful
Coffee is my liquid therapy

Scrapbook Adhesives 3-D foam squares

My question is Do you like coloring your stamped images?  I know I do.  Markers, pencils, and chalk!

SN@P! Page from Simple Stories

I used the travel bundle for some misc. pics I took of the Cabazon Dinosaurs.  I also used some no name stickers I had in my stash.

I also used a postcard I bought.  I've been there before, so we didn't stop.  But, had to take pics of them!

Always reminds me of the movie The Wizard and the little boy saying, "California."

Robin Williams SMASH Page

His death from depression, really affected me.  I just had to document the struggle and so many people struggle from.  Hope one good thing from his death, brings compassion, and awareness.

I used a few printouts from Pinterest and the rest of the pictures were from various magazines.

I used the three ring binder SMASH book and really love I can use all the millions of papers I have.  Just used a piece of notebook paper for a guide for punching the holes with a three ring punch.  I punched the tops of the pictures, strung ribbon through, and attached in the back with double sided tape.

K&CompanySMASH Couture Folio

I worked on three pages in the Couture book!  So much fun documenting some of the girly things in my life.  My fave, getting pedi's!!!!

Thanks so much for hopping along with us!

Heart Disease has sadly touched my family.  My mother was diagnosed this year.  I used the set to make her a card and I dedicated a SMASH page to her and her fight to get healthy!

I used the stamps to create background paper for the page and card.  I used the heart stamp and ribbon stamp, hand drew a heart monitor line between the stamps. The inside of the card I stamped the YOU'VE GOT THIS on white, inked the edges with red, and matted on white to match the outside of the card.

Then I created a SMASH page in the Simple Style SMASH Journal.

Have you tried making SMASH Book pages?  Many companies have their own version, but I love the SMASH Brand books from K & Company.  They have spiral bound books and thring binder books. Most pages have a theme to kinda jump start you on an idea and their are no rules.  I love using Movie Ticket stubs, Stamps, Magazine cut outs, printables, washi tape, etc.  It has really helped me catch up, if that is possible hahaha, and I feel more creative.

I Love the new three ring binders.  I also used the photo inserts that came with the book, to add extra stamped images, and the back has journalling.

I used my Cricut Artiste Cartridge for the bow but did not have black and white polka dot paper.  I just used the washi tape on a scrap piece of paper and ran it thru the cricut.  I used the same technique to cut out the banner outline.  I used a depth of six and it worked out perfectly.

I just attached the bow with a brad, wrapped red twine around the brad, and attached the boxing glove stamps.  I just cut them out and attached with my glue runner.

SMASHBook Pages about Scrapping!

So much fun to get together with gals and scrapbook.

The Lucky One - SMASH Page

Saved my ticket stubs when my mom friend and I went to see the movie.  I used popcorn paper, stickers, and film strip Washi tape!

Dark Shadows Movie SMASH Page

I used an advertisement from junk mail.  It had images from the movie.  When I saw the movie, they had a cute prop set up.  Had to take my picture!  Used my ticket stub as well.

Fight Like a Gurl - SMASH Book Page

We went to go see the fight one night and I finally got around to SMASHing it.  Used my Cricut Phrases Cart for the title.  Found the pink glove image online, printed two in wallet size, and cut them out.  Covered pages in the Red book and used Recollections Feme Fetale paper.

SMASH - Page on Games I Play

Readers Digest had a cute article on playing games.  I cut out words off the cover and games in the article.

I've been saving screen shots of my favorite Facebook games I play and print them out in wallet size.

Its messy and I love it!  Used the pink SMASH Book.

Meeting online friends SMASH Page

I'm In a group called Scrappin Girls of SMASHaholics on Facebook.  Got to meet up with an online friend and her daughter.  We met for lunch and some scrapbook shopping!

K&Company SMASH My Fill-in-The-Blank Life After School Edition

Finally found the new SMASH books last week at Michaels.  I started going through my high school box and did a few pages.  I can't wait to fill it all up!  Love these new books!  I'm gonna keep adding to this post, so they are all in one spot.

In my old highschool book, this was the title page, I just added some scraps to it, washi, and the short list post its from the cutesy smash kit at Target

Used the stache pocket to hold all the information I saved, newspaper articles, and doubles of pics from my Dance Days at my high school.  Had this old pom pom thing from Homecoming and I ripped off some of the strings to add to the page.  Used old letter stickers too.

I didn't want to cover this page, so I used paper clips to hold a pocket page.  Everything in it was about getting my drivers license for the first time.  So glad I kept all of this!

This what the back looks like and smashed the receipt from driving school and filled in the blanks.  Even my embarrassing moment of hitting the gas pump the first time I ever got gas by myself lol.

Used another pocket to hold all my report cards I saved - top one was all A's not the rest though :(  Used some Oh Snap stickers and journalling cards to write about things I remembered from different classes I was in.

Used the Gobble Up page because I was in Restaurant Occupations class in highschool.  Used some pics from the yearbook, I took them on my phone, and printed on photo paper.  I used more of the pom pom string to tie the pencils together that we wrote orders on.  Used the menu, our teachers business cards, and my name tag that I believe we were supposed to turn in and I forgot!

Pictures from the same class, ROP.  We had a Christmas party and we all cooked and were assigned desserts to bring.  Used Ruby Rocket-It paper for this and wish I had more of now!

I graduated early and moved out of state.  Came back for graduation and my parents, class, and teacher, planned a Surprise party for me and I had saved the menu all this time.

Attached pics in photo sleeves with fabric washitape so it opens up for more pics and tag.

More pics from the party and more Ruby Rock-It paper.

Hidden journalling

I used two more pockets to hold all the information I saved from class, all the things I saved from my waitress days in High School, added journalling, and Jolle's stickers I scored at Michaels last week for 25cents!

I took two pictures from the yearbook on my phone and printed on photo paper, used an article in our school newsletter where my bestie Shannon interviewed me for, and some Oh Snap Accessories!

I never ordered my letterman jacket.  Lettered twice in Pageantry.  I knew the perfect thing to use it on would come along!!!!

Hidden Journalling

Used up some old scrap things I got for free at convention a million years ago.

A pic of my friend and I at a dance in high school and all the receipts I could find.  Wish all the books had these pages in it.  I want it for movie ticket stubs.

My fave pages out of both the new books!  So funny!  and on the wall in my pic on the right page, one of the posters, is almost the same looking cat! lol

Hidden journaling about scrunchies, long tangled phone cords, missing that time of life, and reminiscing.

Forgot one earlier and it was the first page I did in the book!
Had a bunch of wallets from different friends and thought the multiple personalities was cute.  I just added some different paper on the background and washi tape.  I also only attached at the top because I wanted to be able to see what they wrote to me on the back.

This was when I was on the Flag, Dance, and Drill Team - budget cuts, so you had to be on all of it or none of it.  But fun, cause it was Drill and Flag during parade season and Dance the rest of the time.

Never have done a sideways page in the SMASH books and totally love it.  Not sure why I didn't before.  I cut the part with the stage and put on top to keep the words on the pic, added letters, and used a glue gun to add on some bling.

This has hidden journalling and an extra pic.
