Floating Christmas Ornaments

Image
I did not have the right ingredients to make these. I also didn't want to spend 50 for printable transparencys.   I did have write on ones! I cut the transparency out of my Cricut a 2.5 inch ornament from the Artiste Cartridge. I did have to cut twice.  Then I used vinyl lettering and made sure the letters fit.  Totally worked!

Dress Form Christmas Tree

Image
I love Dress Forms!  Someone posted on my timeline, this beautiful dress form tree.  I just knew I had to try one too. I had bought a three pack of dress forms to hang jewelry on for my bathroom a few years ago.  They were black and I spray painted pink.  Yup, still not on the wall lol. I had bought a $2.00 tree at Target last year for the bedroom and stuck the dress form on top. I had some scrap lace and wrapped around the tree. For ornaments, I used my Cricut Artiste Cartridge.  I cut out Eiffel Towers, Dressforms, Shoes, Chandeliers, and Fleur de Lis.  I used my eyelet punch for the holes and used some ribbon to make ties. I had some left over part of a scarf I had made and turned that into the tree skirt! I loooove how it came out!  Makes the bedroom look so pretty!

I layered three patterned papers but loved the coffee bean stamp.  So I stamped several on pink paper and layered.  I used my Cricut Artiste Cartridge to make the one inch rosettes.  I used a glue gun to attach together.  I also used the bean stamp on the brown paper.  I wanted the coffee mugs to match the paper, so stamped on

I used the travel bundle for some misc. pics I took of the Cabazon Dinosaurs.  I also used some no name stickers I had in my stash. I also used a postcard I bought.  I've been there before, so we didn't stop.  But, had to take pics of them! Always reminds me of the movie The Wizard and the little boy saying, "California."

His death from depression, really affected me.  I just had to document the struggle and so many people struggle from.  Hope one good thing from his death, brings compassion, and awareness. I used a few printouts from Pinterest and the rest of the pictures were from various magazines. I used the three ring binder SMASH book and really love I can use all the millions of papers I have.  Just used a piece of notebook paper for a guide for punching the holes with a three ring punch.  I punched the tops of the pictures, strung ribbon through, and attached in the back with double sided tape.

K&Company SMASH My Fill-in-The-Blank Life After School Edition

Image
Finally found the new SMASH books last week at Michaels.  I started going through my high school box and did a few pages.  I can't wait to fill it all up!  Love these new books!  I'm gonna keep adding to this post, so they are all in one spot. In my old highschool book, this was the title page, I just added some scraps to it, washi, and the short list post its from the cutesy smash kit at Target  Used the stache pocket to hold all the information I saved, newspaper articles, and doubles of pics from my Dance Days at my high school.  Had this old pom pom thing from Homecoming and I ripped off some of the strings to add to the page.  Used old letter stickers too. I didn't want to cover this page, so I used paper clips to hold a pocket page.  Everything in it was about getting my drivers license for the first time.  So glad I kept all of this!  This what the back looks like and smashed the receipt from driving school and filled in the blanks.  Even my embar
