More pages in the 365 SMASH

Image
Last week, I decided to add number stickers to the side of my 365 SMASH book.  I still have the plastic on the book and it kept them on the book really well.  I thought I'd have to mod podge but was scared because of the cloth material.   2 more pages added as well, please scroll down.  I think I might leave the opposite page blank..or at least for now. I folded a piece of paper in half and cut it to match the flyer.  I wanted to show the back and front of the Cabazon Dianosaurs brochure.  Used left over pics and scraps from my scrapbook pages and attached with ribbon!  That way I can flip it and see both sides.

I busted out some old, very old, scrapbook products from my stash.  For the letters I used a template I bought from gonescrappin.com but I guess they are out of business.  It was called Pagers Template Party.  I forgot how much I liked to trace and hand cut letters.  I inked them with Stampin Up More Mustard and Close to Cocoa.  I had bought at a garage sale a bunch of stamps and yes never used any of them.  There was a dinosaur stamp by The Stamp Pad Co. so stamped on some paper, tore the paper, and inked the edges.  I used old fibers (remember how in style they were???) I remember doing a swap so not sure which company they are from.  I used washi for around the pics and am loving that technique.  I can't remember the last time I used a tag and now have used them on the last two layouts.  So much fun to get in my stash!  I was going to go to town and try and find Dinosaur paper and ended up making my own!!!

Palm Springs SMASH - just journalling

Image
I found a stack of magazines and other freebies I grabbed while on our trip to Palm Springs.  My fave is when I buy post cards, the brown bags they come in, sometimes have the city name.  I had forgot I had this so had to smash it.  I found some old stickers from Dollar Tree Mrs. Elizabeth line - wish they still carried all that.  Used a journalling block I had laying around too. Kinda went sticker overboard but oh well right? lol

Hello Kitty Happy Halloween Altered Clipboard

I combined some Cricut cartridges to make these clipboards and love how they came out.  These are the mini clipboards and like its only one piece of 12x12 paper, not two like the big ones.

Snap Studio by Simple Stories - Palm Springs page

Finally used my SNAP book!  I bought it last year and have been buying pages, just haven't used it yet.  I had extra pictures to use up of Palm Springs and decided to use this album.  I really like it.  Its a little smaller than SMASH but the pages turn nice and love I can rearrange the pages. I used some washi and old letter stickers to finish it.

I used up some paper I scored a deal on at Tuesday Morning last year.  Big paper stack for a buck!!! We purchased the picture and I used the outside for the big picture.  I also used a couple of framelits I think I got in a RAK, not sure.  I used more washi to frame all of the pictures, my new fave technique!  I also used some old metal ad-ons for cards that I bought at Office Depot on clearance for .25 for a big bag a long time ago too.

I used the first couple pages in the 365 SMASH book for our first trip of the year to Palm Springs, CA. I used washi to frame the pictures, our tickets and receipts.  I added journaling under the first picture.

Randsburg, CA - SMASH Page

I accidently printed a picture twice so decided to SMASH it with the postcards.  I used the bottle pages on the black Mod Style K&Company SMASH book. I used a few different Tim Holtz idea-ology line stickers and tag which I was lucky and got on sale once at Joanns and never used. The Adventure was out of a stack my friend bought and we shared so I'm not sure which brand it is from but thought worked with this page.

I took inspriation from this sketch on Pinterest:   http://pinterest.com/pin/118571402662611827/ It is funny, I am really low on ink.  I used a photo strip app so I can use all the funny pics I took around town and didn't have room on the page.  The low on ink effect made the pictures look totally awesome!  I have another one of us of the main picture with the same effect, so gonna do a smash page with that picture and some postcards. I had taken a picture of the old town, a bumper sticker, and us - put it in an app and made a collage with the date and even though cut off my mans arm, like how it turned out too. I used the Cricut Artiste cartridge and cut different tags out of blue wood patterened paper.  I used brown ink to make them look old.  Same ink along with teal on the doily.

The Basement Tour - The Winchester Mystery House

One of my fave pages from this weekend.  I combined several papers and used the ticket stubs.  Also, old fabric corners I bought from Big Lots for a buck a million years ago.

I took way to many pictures at the gardens at The Winchester house.  I folded a piece of 12x12 cardstock in half, attached it with my ATG Gun to the outside of the page protector, and put more pictures inside of the flip out.

In 2012 my fiance and I went to The Winchester Mystery House in San Jose, CA.  It was wonderfullllllllllll.  So much fun, could spend hours there, and did.  One thing off my bucket list!!! It is basically a big SMASH page, obviously SMASHING has really influenced my scrapbooking!

Harley Davidson Scrapbook Page

I was in the R Scrapbook store in Sioux Falls, SD and found this awesome paper.  I found out HD have pulled their liscense and needed HD things.  This flame paper was perfect.  It is called Flame Border by www.robinsnest-scrap.com.  I bought my man a shirt at a HD T-shirt and of course saved the bag.  I cut it out and attached it to the page using my ATG gun and then used my Cricut Groovy Times Cartridge for the Title and the bike.  This was my cousin learning how to ride a Harley at Awesome Biker Nights in Sioux City, IA.

Fortune Cookie SMASH book page

This is out of the red book that was in the bundle at Michaels.  I had bought some of those little journaling pocket deals on sale for 50 cents and yesterday found my fortunes I've been saving.  I used a laser cut I purchased in China Town last year and a good luck money bag. I just cut the circle out from the front.  I had to use spray adhesive for the laser cut.  Didn't think I'd like spray adhesive, WOW I've been missing out!
